There is no need to explicitly backup any application files. However, you must upload the Celiveo Virtual Printer installer to the Web Admin so that you can reinstall the Celiveo Virtual Printer, if needed.
A copy of the Celiveo Virtual Printer Installer is automatically uploaded to the Web Admin when the Web Admin is installed. If an upgrade to the Celiveo Virtual Printer is available, you can download it and upload it to the Web Admin.
3. Backup Procedure
The Celiveo Virtual Printer Installer is provided as a single *.zip file. To upload the *.zip file to the Web Admin:
Launch the Web Admin on your browser and log in to the Web Admin.
At the Main menu, click .
In the list of printers, select the Celiveo Virtual Printer you want to upload the installer for.
At the Printer menu, click . The Printer Settings page displays.
Under [Celiveo Version], click [+]. The Upload Embedded Solution File page displays.
Click [Select files...]
Select the *.zip file that contains the Celiveo Virtual Printer Installer and click Open.
Click Close and then click Save.
Access Permission
No explicit access rights are required to upload a *.zip file to the Web Admin.
4. Restore Procedure
When to Restore
Print jobs sent to the Celiveo Virtual Printer does not print, despite the network is working, and no authentication issues exist.
Restore Procedure
To download the *.zip file containing Celiveo Virtual Printer Installer:
Launch the Web Admin on your browser and log in to the Web Admin.
At the main menu, click .
In the list of printers, select the Celiveo Virtual Printer you want to restore.
At the Printer menu, click . The *.zip file containing the installer downloads.
Extract the *.zip file to a temporary folder.
In the temporary folder, double-click Installer.exe. The Celiveo Virtual Printer installs without further input.
Copy the backup files of the configuration settings to the folder C:\Program Files\Celiveo\Celiveo Virtual Printer.
Access Permission
Administrator privileges on the computer you want to install the Virtual Printer on.
Verify Restore Operation
Verify that you can print using the Celiveo Virtual Printer.
